  • Who need to enroll for 4-Hour Florida First Time Driver (Drug & Alcohol) Course?
    The 4-Hour Drug & Alcohol Course (also known as the Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education – TLSAE Course) is required for: ✅ First-Time Drivers in Florida – If you have never had a driver’s license before, you must complete this course before applying for a Learner’s Permit or Class E Driver’s License. ✅ Teens Applying for a Learner’s Permit – Florida law requires anyone under 18 to complete this course before taking the learner’s permit test. ✅ New Florida Residents (Without a License) – If you recently moved to Florida and don’t have a valid driver’s license from another state or country, you must take this course before applying for a Florida license. ✅ Drivers Who Have Been Ordered by the Court or DMV – In some cases, the Florida DHSMV or a judge may require a driver to complete this course as part of a penalty for a traffic violation.
